Liam grew up in Auckland and started racing karts at six years old. From the beginning, motorsport has been the thing he’s wanted to build his life around.

Since then, racing has taken him from New Zealand to Japan, the United States and across Asia and Europe. He won the New Zealand Grand Prix, finished runner-up in the Formula Three Japan and Oceania championships, and won races in the United States on the Road to INDYCAR pathway, before pivoting into GT racing.

Today, he races with Vincenzo Sospiri Racing in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia and is part of Lamborghini’s Junior Driver programme. His focus is now on building a long-term career in professional motor-racing.

But driving the car is only one side of what he does.

Coming from New Zealand means he has had to build the commercial side of his career alongside the racing through fundraising, forming partnerships, creating value for the businesses supporting him and building relationships across New Zealand and overseas.

Ultimately, he wants to build much more than a racing resume, and rather a successful international career, represent New Zealand at the highest level, and build a network of people and businesses around the journey where there is value on both sides.
